The Focal Point Community Campus is a bold and visionary idea to provide Chicago’s vibrant west and southwest side communities greater opportunity to thrive while celebrating the diversity and rich history of its neighborhoods.
Planned as a mixed-use community development anchored by Saint Anthony Hospital, Focal Point will be located on 30 contiguous acres at West 31st Street and South Kedzie Avenue. Previously a blighted tract of land, it will be home to a multi-use campus serving an area of over 440,000 people.
Focal Point is a first-of-its-kind financially sustainable model based on rental income generated from campus tenants, ensuring a continuous flow of funds distributed into campus and surrounding neighborhood programs and services.
Chicago Southwest Development Corporation is accepting qualification submissions for the Focal Point Community Campus. Learn more about the selection process and find application HERE
