CSDC hosted its second Demolition Update Meeting on January 5, 2022 at 6 PM. Attached is the presentation that was shared. CSDC received useful recommendations from community stakeholders, including but not limited to:
1.) Setting up an email address to accompany the demolition phone hotline, so that community members have the ability to share photos, videos, and messages that way;
2.) A request to flyer the community to provide an update on the demolition for people who do not have internet access; and
3.) A recommendation to improve the project website to make it more use friendly. CSDC also responded to questions about hours of operation for the project (7AM to no later than 5PM), making air quality reports available in English and Spanish, exploring ADA accessible communications, truck access to the project site (off of Kedzie), and whether any food vendors will be displaced (no).
