The Focal Point Community Campus is a bold and visionary idea to provide Chicago’s vibrant west and southwest side communities greater opportunity to thrive and sustainable change, while celebrating the diversity and rich history of its neighborhoods.
Planned as a mixed-use community development, Focal Point will be located on 30 contiguous acres at West 31st Street and South Kedzie Avenue, serving an area of over 440,000 people.
Focal Point is a first-of-its-kind financially sustainable model based on rental income generated from campus tenants, ensuring a continuous flow of funds distributed into campus and surrounding neighborhood programs and services.
